Greenville, S.C. - YouthBASE, a nonprofit educational intervention program, is thrilled to welcome Katrina Peavy as the Communications & Development Coordinator.
Peavy joined YouthBASE after earning her Master of Science in Marketing from Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. A native of Georgia and Furman University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, she was eager to return to Greenville, SC to pursue a role that would enable her to hone her marketing skills while making a meaningful contribution to the community. She previously provided marketing content for a wellness nonprofit, worked as a paralegal assistant, and as a qualitative research assistant at the Consumer Insights & Business Innovation Center in Denver, CO.
“Katrina brings valuable communications experience coupled with a genuine desire to improve children’s lives through educational programs like ours," said Executive Director, Melissa Huff. "She will play a vital role in increasing our visibility and strengthening relationships with our partners and donors across the community to sustain our programs at YouthBASE.”
