Worthwhile team members attend Columbia award ceremony
Worthwhile (worthwhile.com) was named 2nd Best Place to Work in South Carolina for 2019. This recognition comes in the second year the Greenville company participated in the listing. In 2018, Worthwhile placed 3rd.
Best Places to Work in SC is an initiative of the South Carolina Chamber partnering with the publishers of SCBIZ News and the Best Companies Group. The awards dinner on August 1, 2019 presented by Colonial Life in Columbia at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center concluded the 14th consecutive year for the comprehensive selection process.
“The recognition as the 2nd Best Place to Work in the state by the SC Chamber is a testament to the Worthwhile team,” said CEO Dan Rundle. “They show up each day and make Worthwhile a great place to work through their commitment to our clients and to each other. Meaningful work accomplished with great people is a recipe for this type of recognition.”
Located in downtown Greenville, Worthwhile has been improving the Carolinas’ manufacturing and heavy industries for more than 20 years. The company has also been recognized with awards and listings including by the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, Roaring Twenties, and Inc. 5000.

Companies participating in the selection process take part in two assessments. The employer details company policies, practices, benefits and demographics. The employees complete an in-depth survey regarding the company's culture and demographics. 75 of those companies, including small-to-medium-sized companies, were presented with awards in 2019.
