GREENVILLE, S.C. – Greenville-based World Acceptance Corporation today announced that Chris Simonetti has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Analytics.

Simonetti has worked in the finance industry for more than a decade, holding positions at privately-held investment firms such as Precision Recovery Analytics, Inc., Resurgent Capital Services and Javlin Capital LLC. He most recently served as Chief Investment Officer at Velocity Investments, LLC.
In his new role at World Acceptance Corporation, Simonetti will be responsible for managing the company’s strategy and analytics team, overseeing the company’s strategic direction and helping to optimize the company’s loan products across its 1,200 branches nationwide.

Simonetti received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He resides in Greenville with his wife and in his free time enjoys biking and exploring the many great restaurants the city has to offer.
