GREENVILLE, S.C. – Locally Epic and iMAGINE Upstate are teaming up to challenge Greenville CEOs to shoot it out in a HORSE tournament for charity at the Peace Center on Saturday, April 6 starting at 1 p.m.
The contest, hosted by Locally Epic, will include CEO’s from around the Upstate participating in everyone’s favorite childhood game filled with trick shots. JDew, hype man and emcee of the Clemson Tiger’s basketball team and Megan Heidlberg, WSPA host, will be the guest emcees for the tournament. All proceeds raised from the tournament will go towards iMAGINE Upstate plus the CEO’s charity of choice.
“Every year we try to incorporate a new element within the festival,” said Kelsye Acker, director of iMAGINE Upstate. “When Chase came to us with this idea, we all thought what a fun way to get more people involved with an activity everyone will have fun watching.”
There is a $250 donation fee for CEO’s and business owners interested in participating that includes one entry for the tournament, a t-shirt and invited to the kick-off party the night before the games. The party will also include the drawing for the order that each participant will play in the game. Those interested in participating can sign up at www.locallyepic.com.
“This isn’t just a company’s junior level employee that played high school basketball back in the day,” said Chase Michaels, CEO of Locally Epic. “No these are the C-Suite executives and above battling it out in a game of H.O.R.S.E. and should be very fun to watch.”
