UCW Logistics Continues to Grow with the Announcement of Several New Hires

UCW Logistics is once again expanding their team with the addition of two new members. The continued growth that UCW has been experiencing will help build new service offerings and expand on existing services including truck brokerage, managed freight solutions, and international freight management.

UCW Logistics is a third-party logistics (3PL) provider leveraging 90-years of operations to offer logistics services and truckload transportation by providing a competitive advantage to their customers’ supply chains. UCW proudly develops and implements best practices and cost-effective solutions for companies across North America.

Joining the UCW team are Chad Hamby and Matthew Campbell. “Each of these employees are an exceptional asset to UCW and will help us continue to grow and serve our clients,” said Steve Kitterman, Chief Commercial Officer at UCW. “In 2018 UCW was awarded the prestigious ranking of the 126th fastest-growing private company in the nation on the Inc. 500 listing. Chad Hamby joins UCW as Director of Carrier Relations. Chad will strategically partner and align with internal business partners to create and drive a carrier development plan as well as manage all facets of carrier relations for UCW. Chad has over twenty years of experience in carrier development, operations management, and supply chain optimization, and has most recently worked for Lowe’s Companies. Chad has a BSBA focused in Business Administration, Management, and Marketing from Appalachian State University.

Matthew Campbell recently joined UCW in their Greenville, South Carolina office as Controller. He was most recently the Controller at a paper converting company, where he worked for seven years reaching new markets and overseeing a revenue growth of 25% and an increase in employees from four to over twenty.
