Greenville, SC, August 21, 2018 - Clay Mardre and Robb Templeton of I & M Industrials, Inc. were recently honored with the Patriot Award by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). The ESGR is the Defense Department agency promoting cooperation and understanding between civilian employers and their National Guard and Reserve employees.
I & M employee Eric Pressley (SSgt Pressley) nominated the two for the award and presented it to them alongside Bill Boozer, ESGR Vice Chair, Area 3 & 4 for South Carolina. “Today I got to present my supervisors Clay Mardre and Robb Templeton with the ESGR Patriot Award. This award is to say thank you for allowing my dad (MSGT Pressley), my salesman (TSGT Childress) and myself to work and be a part of the Armed Services. I’m so thankful for an awesome employer and amazing work family” stated Pressley in a social media post.
The Patriot Award honors supervisors for their exceptional support of National Guard and Reserve employees by presenting them with a public acknowledgement of their support, a framed certificate of appreciation and a lapel pin. Nominations must come from a National Guard and Reserve member or a family member.
