The Greenville County Disability and Special Needs Board/Thrive Upstate with its committed leadership and dedicated staff is making great strides toward community integration. With almost 400 individuals receiving Day Service from their three centers, over sixty people are currently working at a Greenville business with that number expected to increase by 41% within the year. Individuals who receive Thrive Upstate services are partnering with Greenville County businesses who need loyal, dedicated workers. And through innovation and training, Thrive is making that happen. Shawn, featured here has learned to refurbish golf cars for Garrett’s in Fountain Inn. He has been a stellar employee for over a year.
