Greenville, SC, March 28, 2022 — Thomas & Hutton is pleased to announce its new registered Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) in the state of South Carolina, Joe Clark, PLA. Joe passed the four-part Landscape Architect Registration Examination, administered by the Council of Landscape Architect Registration Boards required to become licensed as a Professional Landscape Architect in the state of South Carolina.
Joe joined Thomas & Hutton’s Charleston Landscape Architecture Department in May 2017 and relocated to the Greenville office in April 2019. He has a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and Master in Historic Preservation from Ball State University. Prior to joining Thomas & Hutton, Joe was an active member of the United States Army Reserves, Corps of Engineers for six years. During his service, Joe worked abroad and in the United States on a variety of stormwater, industrial, and structural design projects. Joe is currently working on several notable civic, recreational, and residential projects across the Carolinas and Georgia, including Cainhoy – Del Webb (Charleston, SC), Horizons at Summers Corner (Summerville, SC), Grand Bohemian Hotel (Greenville, SC), and Waterfront Park (Daniel Island, SC).
