Cliffs Realty, the official brokerage of The Cliffs, has announced impressive real estate sales through Q2 2022 by its brokerage teams totaling $129,758,578 across 149 transactions, which represents a 24% increase in volume from the same period last year.
“Through Q2 2022, we continue to see remarkable sales at The Cliffs which illustrate the unflagging interest shown by buyers in our seven lake and mountain club communities. Driven by the desire to live within such exceptional, natural landscapes, we anticipate strong sales to continue throughout the year, complemented by the ongoing investment in high level new amenities and homebuilding programs happening under the leadership of South Street Partners,” said Rob Duckett, President of Operations for South Street Partners.
In The Asheville Region, which encompasses The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, the brokerage has reported total sales of $35,743,575 across 27 transactions through Q2 2022 which represents an incredible 894% increase in sales volume and a 800% increase in transactions from the same period last year. The top selling property for The Asheville Region was a 4 bedroom, 5 bath home at 1832 Bella Vista Court overlooking the 17th fairway and hole on Walnut Cove's Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course which sold for $3.995M. Shaun Collyer of Cliffs Realty was the top producer for The Asheville Region through Q2 2022.
In The Mountain Region, which consists of The Cliffs at Glassy, The Cliffs at Mountain Park and The Cliffs Valley, Cliffs Realty has reported total sales of $48,022,956 across 67 transactions which represents a 14.9% increase in sales volume and a 3% increase in transactions from Q2 2021. The highest transaction in the region was the $3.5M sale of 120 Stone Crop Drive at The Cliffs at Glassy, a majestic mountain home custom designed by renowned architect, Keith Summerour, which marks the highest home sale in the history of the community. Cliffs Realty transacted both sides of the sale with Brett Samuels representing the seller and Garry Patton representing the buyer. Brett Samuels of Cliffs Realty was Q2 2022’s top producer for The Mountain Region.
In The Lake Region, which includes The Cliffs at Keowee Falls, The Cliffs at Keowee Springs and The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards, Cliffs Realty reported $45,992,047 in sales volume across 55 transactions. The highest sale through Q2 2022 was a home at 721 Spring Cove Way at The Cliffs at Keowee Springs which sold for $4.4M and was listed by Justin Coleman of Cliffs Realty. Zack Thomas was the Lake Region’s top producer in the second quarter of the year.
The Cliffs has partnered with nationally recognized architectural firms Hart Howerton and Lake|Flato to build signature residences accompanied by a slate of high-level amenities, including a new state-of-the-art clubhouse and the Lake Club at The Landing at The Cliffs at Keowee Springs, which broke ground in March 2022.
Another amenity upgrade was at The Cliffs at Mountain Park where The Cabin, the community’s clubhouse, underwent extensive renovations and reopened in May 2022 to the delight of members.
