GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Brand Leader, a branding agency specializing in strategy and design and headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, was named an honorable mention in Outside Magazine’s 2021 Best Place to Work. Outside Magazine, in conjunction with their research partner Best Companies Group, has been naming companies to this list since 2007. The Brand Leader was the only company in all the Carolinas to make the list.
To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity
- Be a publicly or privately held business
- Have a facility in the United States
- Have a minimum of 15 employees working in the United States
- Must be in business a minimum of one year
- Produce products and/or provide services that align with the core principles of Outside Magazine
Companies from across the nation entered the two-part survey process to determine Outside Magazine’s 2021 list of Best Places to Work. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of a confidential employee survey to measure the employee experience.
