The Barbara Stone Foundation Hires Hadlee Hoeksema As The New Job Liaison For The UP Employment Initiative

The Barbara Stone Foundation, a Greenville-based non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families, hired Hadleee Hoeksema as Job Liaison for The UP (Upward Professionals) Employment program.

Greenville, S.C. – The Barbara Stone Foundation, a Greenville-based non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families, hired Hadleee Hoeksema as Job Liaison for The UP (Upward Professionals) Employment program. The UP Employment program is a partnership with Hospitality America and the Windsor Aughtry Hotel Group, working to develop a world-class workforce initiative for the inclusive employment of people with disabilities in the hotel industry.


Hoeksema was previously with Bright Start and began as a case manager and most recently was a case manager supervisor. She moved to Greenville from Michigan in the Fall of 2019 and graduated from Spring Arbor University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Special Needs Population.

As a job liaison for the UP Employment program, Hoeksema is responsible for acting as the main support for Hospitality America employees with disabilities, serving as their intermediary and connecting UP Employment Initiative stakeholders. She will work with up to 8 employees and one intern on an individual basis to ensure their sustainability and success.
