Through TAG, Tammy Propst has structured and deployed $1.4 billion in New Markets Tax Credits (NMTCs) to projects across the United States, including $277 million for its affiliate – The Innovate Fund – throughout South Carolina. TAG’s activity has supported the creation 24,000 direct jobs and over 8.8 million square feet of new and improved real estate. Its community facility activities serve nearly 350,000 Low-Income People and Low-Income Community residents. Local projects include McBee Station, RiverWalk, ONE, Poe West, and Judson Mill.
“As a mom of two young adult daughters, supporting moms and babies is near to my heart,” explained Tammy Propst. It’s complicated being a mom in today’s world and if your babies are in danger there is a high level of stress and fear that permeates life.
Anything we can do to uplift and encourage these families is critical to giving them a chance – especially now during this extended health crisis.”
“We are so happy to see a vibrant go-getter like Tammy Propst receive this award,” said Laura Goodwin, Executive Director of March of Dimes SC. “Funds raised will help all moms and babies in SC through vital research, community programs, and provider training.”
