The March of Dimes is thrilled to announce that Tammy Propst, founder and managing director of Tax Advantage Group (TAG) will be this year’s honoree at the Real Estate and Economic Development Award Luncheon. The event will be back in person this year and held at the brand new AC Hotel Greenville on November 16.
Through TAG, Tammy Propst has structured and deployed $1.4 billion in New Markets Tax Credits (NMTCs) to projects across the United States, including $277 million for its affiliate – The Innovate Fund – throughout South Carolina. TAG’s activity has supported the creation 24,000 direct jobs and over 8.8 million square feet of new and improved real estate. Its community facility activities serve nearly 350,000 Low-Income People and Low-Income Community residents. Local projects include McBee Station, RiverWalk, ONE, Poe West, and Judson Mill.
“As a mom of two young adult daughters, supporting moms and babies is near to my heart,” explained Tammy Propst. "It’s complicated being a mom in today’s world and if your babies are in danger there is a high level of stress and fear that permeates life. Anything we can do to uplift and encourage these families is critical to giving them a chance – especially now during this extended health crisis.”
