Sylvan Learning Center hires new Center Director

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Sylvan Learning Center has added Wendy Green as the center director.

Green earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of North Carolina in Asheville. Upon graduation, she ventured into the world of IT and worked with software manufacturers, telecom companies and travel risk management service providers. After gaining the opportunity to train and work with people from all over the world teaching technology and leadership skills, Green soon realized her true passion of inspiring and supporting people in their growth.

“Wendy has such an energetic and vibrant personality that we knew she would be a great fit in this position,” said Amy Gardner, franchise owner of Sylvan Learning Center. “She truly has a passion for Sylvan and helping everyone reach their full potential.”

Before coming on board at Sylvan, Green was the director of training at iJET International as well as the franchise owner of KidzArt of Loudoun County. During her time at KidzArt, she was awarded Franchisee of the Year. Green is also very involved throughout the Greenville community. She is part of the Rotary Club of the Reedy River where she has served as the secretary, public relations chair and is currently serving her second term as the incoming president for the 2019-2020 year.

“I am thrilled to be back at Sylvan as the center director,” said Green. “I love getting the opportunity to work with such a great team and look forward to the continued growth and educational developments that keep Sylvan as a leader in educational services.”
