SunCap Property Group Breaks Ground on Speculative Industrial Project in Greenville-Spartanburg area

Developer SunCap Property Group has broken ground on an industrial facility on 30 acres within Hillside Industrial Park on Highway 290. The project will be called Hillside 290.

The 284,400-square-foot building will be offered for lease, with spaces divisible to 70,000 square feet. The rear-load building is 260’ deep with 62 dock doors, 315 car-park spaces and 59 trailer-park spaces.

“Situated less than a mile from I-85 and seven miles from I-26 and the Inland Port in Greer, Hillside 290 is the premier industrial location in the Spartanburg market” said Derek Mathis, senior vice president with SunCap. “This building will offer unmatched access to the 85 corridor and the flexibility to accommodate a wide variety of distribution, light manufacturing and automotive-related users”.

Colliers’ Garrett Scott, John Montgomery, Brockton Hall and Dillon Swayngim will be handling leasing for the facility. Hogan Construction Group has been selected as the general contractor for the project.
