Student selected for Youth Apprenticeship

Mr. Samuel Wyatt has been selected to participate in the Benteler Academy (USA) Automotive Division as a Youth Apprentice.  This international company is a local supplier for BMW and is located in Duncan, SC.

Benteler Automotive has partnered with Daniel Morgan Technology Center for the past two years to offer youth apprenticeship opportunities.  Duke Moses, the Manager of the Benteler Academy (USA) Automotive Division, has worked diligently with DMTC to offer this work-based learning experience for students who have completed the school’s Mechatronics program.

Mr. Samuel Wyatt is a rising senior at Broome High School and is finishing the DMTC Mechatronics program this school year.  Sam will be taking classes in Advanced Manufacturing and Industrial Technologies with a focus in Mechatronics at Spartanburg Community College while working part-time at Benteler Automotive during his senior year.
