GREENVILLE, SC (October 11, 2021) – Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd is pleased to announce that Stinson Woodward Ferguson has been selected for the inaugural class of the Sustainability Leadership Initiative.
Sustain SC and the Furman University Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities have partnered together for this innovative six-month program, the first of its kind in South Carolina.
“I am thrilled to be part of the inaugural Sustainability Leadership Initiative and look forward to collaborating with leaders from across our state as we look to create a more sustainable future for South Carolina,” said Stinson.
Stinson focuses her practice in the areas of environmental law and commercial disputes. In addition to advising clients on sustainable business practices, she counsels clients on permitting disputes and enforcement, real estate transactions, solar legislation and development and brownfield redevelopment. She earned a Certificate in Sustainable Management from Duke University and is recognized for environmental law in Greenville Business Magazine’s 2021 “Legal Elite.”
Active in the community, Stinson is a Board Member for Ten at the Top (TATT) and serves on the city of Greenville’s Green Ribbon Advisory Committee. She is a graduate of the Riley Institute at Furman’s Diversity Leaders Initiative and the Furman University Women’s Leadership Institute.
