GREENVILLE, S.C. – The South Carolina Small Business Development Council will host a workshop focused on growth and hard business discussions on Tuesday, March 5.
The session will be focused on growth and hard conversations that happen in the workplace. The growth concentration will emphasize how to get your business ready to expand and how to know if the company has the right system in place to grow the business. The conversation will be led by Tim Joiner, principal and CEO of local growth agency, 3Fold. Joiner will focus on what your company needs to be doing when they are small in order to handle rapid growth for the future. Other topics include building systems, reinventing your job and psychological growth.
Jim Wiginton, managing partner for local business coaching agency Broad Insights, will discuss the hard conversations part of the workshop. Being a business coach and experiencing first-hand the topics leaders fear to avoid conflict, Wiginton will address how to bring up said issues that may have been dormant for years.
“This workshop will be a great opportunity to gain insight on how to prepare your business for the future,” said Earl Gregorich, area manager for the Greenville area SBDC. “Tim and Jim have had so many experiences with growth and having to have tough conversations within their respective businesses, and I think they will have a lot of knowledge for the business leaders in attendance.”
The workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 5 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the University Center Greenville, 225 S. Pleasantburg Drive Room 511. For more information on how to attend, visit https://scsbdc.ecenterdirect.com/events/314435.
