SC Governor Proclaims “Miracle Hill Ministries 80th Anniversary Day”

GREENVILLE, SC (March 17, 2017) – South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster has proclaimed March 21, 2017 as Miracle Hill Ministries 80th Anniversary Day in honor of the non-profit’s longstanding work serving the Upstate’s homeless children and adults.

Governor McMaster commended Miracle Hill as the “largest and most comprehensive provider of services to the homeless in the Palmetto State” and lauded the organization for its impact on the state’s foster care system as the “largest foster care recruitment/placement agency in the state”. Miracle Hill currently has more than 220 licensed foster families and works closely with the Department of Social Services to meet the needs of vulnerable children.

McMaster encouraged “all South Carolinians to recognize Miracle Hill Ministries and its dedicated workers for their commitment to improving lives through compassion, dignity and faith.”

Miracle Hill will commemorate its 80th anniversary at a “Night of Miracles” Fundraising Gala featuring Derek Clark the “Rapping Dad” on March 21, 2017 at the TD Convention Center in Greenville. The celebratory event will also include dinner, entertainment, a pre-show thrift fashion runway hosted by Studio 62’s Jamarcus Gaston and His Radio 89.3 personality Alison Storm, birthday surprises, and inspirational stories of lives restored.
