SPARTANBURG, SOUTH CAROLINA – ReGenesis Health Care began offering high quality integrated healthcare to the Spartanburg community in 2003 and has since expanded to provide their services in the Cherokee and Union communities as well. ReGenesis Health Care will celebrate 20 years of service to Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union counties with a 20th anniversary kickoff event on March 31st, 2023.
The 20th anniversary kickoff event will be held on Friday, March 31st, 2023 at 12:00pm at ReGenesis Health Care’s administrative office located at 460 Langdon St. Spartanburg, SC 29302. The event will feature guest speakers including the Mayor of Spartanburg, Jerome Rice and former state representative and founder of the movement to start ReGenesis Health Care, Harold Mitchell.
To commemorate this milestone occasion ReGenesis Health Care will begin celebrating 20 weeks of services, patients, and community partnerships each week following the anniversary kickoff event. Over the 20-week celebration ReGenesis Health Care will be discussing health awareness topics, recognizing patients, participating in community events, and much more. The 20-week celebration will be followed by their 20th anniversary grand finale event in August. History of ReGenesis Health Care
ReGenesis Health Care was founded and established in 2003 with a single location and nine employees to address health disparities and provide greater access to healthcare for the citizens on the Southside of Spartanburg. Their first health center offered healthcare services including pediatric medicine, family medicine, women’s health and men’s health.
Since 2003, ReGenesis Health Care has expanded to nine locations with nearly 200 employees across three counties. This growth has allowed ReGenesis Health Care to expand their healthcare services to provide behavioral health, school-based services, dental and pharmaceutical services along with transportation services and mobile medical services.
ReGenesis Health Care has grown tremendously over the last 20 years, but this is just the beginning. As of today, ReGenesis Health Care is still rising and continues to strive toward a brighter tomorrow in the communities they serve.
