RealOp Investments expands role for VP Chip Hunt

GREENVILLE, S.C. –RealOp Investments recently named Chip Hunt its Vice President of Leasing and Marketing.

In this role, Hunt will have the capacity to expand the firm’s presence across the company’s portfolio; with specific attention to enhancing already strong relationships with tenants, in-market brokers, and the broader communities in which the company operates.

Prior to joining the RealOp team in 2013, Hunt spent three years with one of the nation’s largest publicly-traded owners of Class A office properties, Piedmont Office Realty Trust. Having markets in eight major cities throughout the United States, Hunt was part of the Atlanta-based asset management and leasing function, with a specific focus on the company’s western portfolio. Hunt also worked with CBRE in the company’s Greenville location.

“Chip has been a major asset to the RealOp team for the past five years,” said Reggie Bell, CEO of RealOp Investments. “He has a true passion for what he does and always gives 110 percent. We are excited to see what the future hold for him here at RealOp leading our leasing and marketing teams.”

A four-year baseball letterman at Wofford College, Hunt graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business economics. Shortly after graduation, Hunt attended Clemson University where he earned a master’s in real estate development. When not in the office, Hunt takes on the responsibility of devoted husband, father, Little League coach and board member for the Gower Estate Homeowners Association.

“RealOp has been expanding rapidly the past few years,” said Hunt. “I am more than ready to take on this new role and continue assisting in the company’s expansion throughout the Southeast.”
