The grand opening celebration of the new Partners in Primary Care at Walgreens Homeland Park scheduled for Tuesday, March 17th has been postponed.
Due to the rising concerns and incidents of the COVID-19 virus across the country, Partners in Primary Care and Walgreens are postponing group gatherings like this one in order to help protect the senior population we work hard to serve every day. Partners in Primary Care at Walgreens Homeland Park, located at 108 Highway 28 Bypass, Anderson, is currently open, seeing patients and accepting new patients daily from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The Walgreens store and pharmacy remain open as well.
The new, conveniently located 3,500 square foot primary care center is staffed by a board-certified physician and supported by a care team that includes a Walgreens health outcomes pharmacist, registered nurse ‘care coach,’ dietitians, behavioral health specialists and social workers, all dedicated to helping seniors with full-service primary care, pharmacy, nutrition, wellness support and other services.
The Homeland Park Partners in Primary Care center is the tenth to open in South Carolina, the first that is co-located inside a Walgreens in South Carolina. The Partners in Primary Care centers accept Aetna, Cigna-HealthSpring, Humana and WellCare Medicare Advantage plans.
