Greenville, S.C. (July 30, 2020) – Jason Nutting and Alex Smith, co-owners of ONE gym, have opened the doors to downtown Greenville’s newest personal training facility, located in 4,000 square feet on the fourth floor of the ONE building on Main Street.
ONE Gym’s mission is to help people achieve a healthier lifestyle by connecting, guiding, and challenging them to become a better version of themselves. Through a holistic approach focused on the client’s mindset, nutrition and training, coaches Jason Nutting and Alex Smith provide comprehensive, customized programs and services to clients of all levels to help them reach their individual goals. Services include one-on-one personal training, in-person and online fitness and nutrition coaching and metabolic testing.
Combined, Nutting and Smith bring more than 22 years’ experience as fitness professionals. They worked together for three years at former local fitness powerhouse Performance QSA, where Nutting served as Vice President of Marketing and Athlete Development and Smith as Director of Personal Training. From there, Nutting went on to serve as a fitness coach at Elite Fitness in downtown Greenville and Smith as a fitness coach at Knight Performance Factory.
Nutting is a former member of the US Air Force. He began his coaching career training under a former Mr. USA at one of the top 10 gyms in the nation, rated by Men's Health. Smith was a five-year basketball student-athlete at both Augusta University and William & Mary. He earned a master’s degree in Exercise Science from Augusta University.
Located at 2 West Washington Street, Suite 401, ONE Gym’s open floorplan is energizing and bright featuring state of the art fitness equipment including free weights, functional training, and machine equipment, along with spacious locker rooms boasting 170 lockers and private showers.
