
Deny Knapschaefer
Novus Advisors, an independent, fee-only, SEC registered investment advisor based in Greenville, SC, is pleased to welcome Deny Knapschaefer, CFP®, ChFC®, CLU® and Stephen Semer to its investment team.
Deny Knapschaefer is a Senior Vice President and Investment Advisor with Novus Advisors working in the Midwest and Southeast. Prior to joining Novus Advisors, Deny was an employee of a large retail bank for over 25 years where he served as Wealth Advisor, Financial Advisor and Registered Brokerage Principal. Deny has been in the financial services since 1988. His primary function throughout his career has been advising clients and helping them plan for their financial future.
Deny received his Bachelor of Science in Business from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Deny is a licensed Investment Adviser Representative with Novus Advisors, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM professional, a Chartered Financial Consultant®, and a Chartered Life Underwriter®. He also holds his state Life, Accident and Health Insurance License.
Deny is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time canoeing, kayaking, and hiking. His primary residence is in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where he lives with his wife Angie, with a secondary residence in Coldwater, Ohio. Angie and Deny have six children and four grandchildren.
Stephen Semer is a Senior Vice President with Novus Advisors. Prior to joining Novus Advisors, Stephen spent nearly ten years as a private banker and financial advisor at global and regional investment firms, where his responsibilities included client service and portfolio management.

Stephen graduated from James A Rhodes State College with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Financial Services. Stephen resides in Northwest Ohio with his wife Taylor and their four children. Away from work, he enjoys gaming, movies, and volunteering with Junior Achievement and Career Connections, where he teaches financial literacy at multiple grade levels.
