Greenville Women Giving Program Explores Innovations in Technical Education

On Wednesday, Nov. 16, Greenville Women Giving (GWG), a women’s collective giving organization serving Greenville County, will host a program exploring Career and Technical Centers and the advancing reputation of technical education. Panelists representing Greenville Technical College and Greenville County Schools will discuss the changing face of employment skills and how tech centers and colleges are preparing students to meet those needs. Panelists are:

Matteel Knowles, PhD, Vice President for Student Services at Greenville Technical College
Eric Williams, Executive Director for Career and Technology Education, Greenville County Schools


The event will be held Wed., Nov. 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Kroc Center,
424 Westfield St. in Greenville. A limited number of spaces are available for non-GWG members. Reservations are required by emailing gwgrsvp@gmail.com or calling (864) 361-1393 by Nov. 9.

Greenville Women Giving is a philanthropic women's collective giving organization created in 2006 as a special initiative of the Community Foundation of Greenville. Since its founding, GWG has awarded 140 grants totaling over $7.6 million and has grown to over 500 members.
