NGU’s Cline School of Music to Present Annual Christmas Concert

NGU's Cline School of Music to present Christmas concert on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at Taylors First Baptist Church.

Tigerville, SC - (November 20) On Tuesday, November 27, North Greenville University will host their annual Christmas concert. The event will be held at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of Taylors First Baptist Church on 200 W. Main Street in Taylors, SC.

The theme of this year’s concert is: “Proclaim the Good News--Around the World.” Since the announcement from the Angel choir, the story of Christ’s Birth and the Gospel has traveled around the world. As the Good News spread, each culture has celebrated Christmas in their own language and musical style. The Cline School of Music invites you to join them as they celebrate the bond that believers around the world share: Christ and the Good News that He is to us.

The concert will include North Greenville’s concert choir, brass ensemble, orchestra, string ensemble, theatre department, guitar ensemble, percussion ensemble, and contemporary ensemble.

The event is free and open to the public. However a $5 donation will be accepted.

“The donations are to help the Cline School of Music produce quality music programs for NGU and the community,” said Professor of Music and Vocal Coordinator Dr. Cheryl Greene.
