Do you know your HIV status? According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), an estimated 1.2 million people in the United States had HIV at the end of 2018. Of those people, about 14%, or 1 in 7, did not know they were infected.
On Tuesday, December 1, join New Horizon Family Health Services' Ryan White Program team for a World AIDS Day HIV Awareness Event from 9 am - 4 pm at our 975 W. Faris Road office in Greenville. If you've got a minute, you can get screened for HIV as well as learn more about HIV prevention including PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) and HIV treatment. The event is open to the community.
