Since 1972, each U.S. Navy Chief of Naval Operations has encouraged a Navy-wide birthday celebration to enhance a greater appreciation of our Navy heritage, and to provide a positive influence toward pride and professionalism in the naval service.
The Upper South Carolina Council of the Navy League is honored to co-host this celebration of the Navy’s 247th birthday, along with the Palmetto Chapter of the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association and the Greenville Navy Reserve Center, on October 14, 2022, at the Poinsett Club, 807 E. Washington Street, Greenville, SC.
You do not have to be a member to attend. Please plan to come and enjoy Navy tradition, fabulous Poinsett Club dining, music, dancing, and reconnect with friends and shipmates at this patriotic celebration of our country's Navy and Naval heritage!
