The Upper South Carolina Council of the Navy League will host a dinner program at the Poinsett Club, 807 East Washington St, Greenville, SC, on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. The speaker will be Nick Wong, Executive Director, Maritime Association of South Carolina.
With an extensive leadership career spanning over two decades, his mission is to ensure the Maritime Association’s members are profitable, sustainable, successful, and well connected. Nick has a passion for the maritime and supply chain community, and he is driven to share its story across the region and country, so everyone understands its impact on their lives, livelihood, and standard of living.
Prior to joining the Maritime Association, Nick had a distinguished career in the United States Coast Guard. His last assignment was as the Deputy Sector Commander at Coast Guard Sector Charleston, where he was charged with Coast Guard operations across South Carolina and Georgia while building partnerships with industry leaders at all levels.
The Navy League is a national civilian non-profit organization whose mission is to support U.S. sea services: Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and U.S.-Flagged Merchant Marine. It does this in the Upstate through informational dinner programs, support of sea service personnel and their families, and support of six Upstate high school Navy Junior ROTC units and the Upstate Young Marines youth program.
Cost is $39 per person. You do not have to be a member to attend the dinner and your guests are welcome to join us. For additional details and downloadable reservation form go to: https://bit.ly/NavyLeagueDinner022222
