GREENVILLE, S.C. – An app designed to streamline the home buying and selling process has launched exclusively with listings from the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors.
Quitchet allows buyers to access accurate direct data while choosing basic or the most extensive filters for home features available anywhere, since it is directly from the MLS. As potential homes are discovered, buyers can connect and communicate with an agent and conveniently schedule and route showings with an automated system, said Bob Morgan, the president and CEO of Quitchet. Sellers benefit from direct feedback after showings and the ability to alert them when to go home after home showings are completed.
“The market has desperately missed a seamless interface that connects all parties involved in residential real estate,” Morgan said. “That is where Quitchet comes from. It is an app and website that serves the needs of customers and agents simultaneously through a comprehensive experience. Simplifying the entire process is the key.”
Nick Sabatine, president of the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors, said it is an exciting opportunity for Greenville to be getting first use of the app. With more than 3,300 members, the GGAR expects to see widespread use.
“Quitchet allows the customer to browse and customize home searches. By choosing basic or advanced seller features, they solve some of the biggest demands in residential real estate by allowing instantaneous showing status and feedback,” Sabatine said.

Quitchet is one of the client companies in the South Carolina Research Authority’s (SCRA) SCLaunch program, said Steve Johnson, Interim Director & Investment Manager for SCLaunch. The SCLaunch program was founded 14 years ago to support innovative start-up companies in South Carolina through mentoring, grants and investments

The Quitchet app was created by Morgan and software company DeVobal with further development and ongoing support by Greenville-based software company Kopis.
“Quitchet was a unique opportunity and project for our firm,” said Andrew Kurtz, CEO of Kopis. “We are excited to see a national project start right in our own backyard.”
The plan is for Greenville to serve as the first market for Quitchet, but the firm already is talking to MLS groups in other parts of the country to expand the site, Morgan said. The goal is to be in four markets by the end of 2021.
“There is nothing like Quitchet on the market,” he said. “We have been working on this tool for several years. Using my 20 years as a realtor and listening to agents, buyers and sellers, we have been refining it to make sure it is what everyone involved in the selling and buying of a home needs.”
