GREENVILLE, SC (March 20, 2018) — CARF International announced that Miracle Hill Ministries has been accredited for a period of three years for its Foster Family and Kinship Care and Group Home Care programs. This is the first accreditation the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities has given to Miracle Hill, and the decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be given to an organization.

“We are honored that CARF recognizes the excellent work of the staff and volunteers who serve the children in care at Miracle hill Ministries. I am blessed to lead such a wonderful team,” said Beth Williams, VP of Children’s Ministries.

This achievement shows Miracle Hill Ministries’ substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.

Miracle Hill Ministries has been providing Foster Family and Kinship Care since 1988. The organization’s Children’s Home opened in 1958, the Miracle Hill Boys’ Shelter began operation in 1990, and Homes for Life, a shelter for homeless young men ages 16 – 21 began in 2012. Collectively, these shelters and programs served nearly 650 Upstate children last year.
