Miracle Hill Appoints New VP of Chidren’s Ministries

Brenda ParksMiracle Hill Ministries recently appointed Mrs. Brenda Parks as their new VP Of Children’s Ministries. Brenda is an experienced leader with 40 years of service in the child welfare industry, and a lifetime of serving Jesus in ministry. For the past six years, she has served as the Director of MHM’s Foster Care Program, successfully performing her role with dedication, passion, and integrity.

Brenda is a graduate of Webster University, where she earned a Master of Arts in Counseling. She has been instrumental in helping Miracle Hill become the largest private non-profit provider of foster homes and care in South Carolina. Likewise, she is the author of “The Habits of a Highly Successful Wife”, and in February 2020 she was presented with the “One Person Can Make a Difference” award from the Palmetto Association for Children and Families in South Carolina. Brenda has been happily married to Dr. Toney C. Parks, - for nearly 40 years. Together, they have two sons, Hamilton, and Donovan, a “daughter-in-love” (Brittany), and two grandchildren.

“I consider it an honor and privilege to serve God through ministering to children and families and walking alongside our partners, SCDSS and others, to see that the needs of abused and neglected children are met; and that they have every opportunity for stability and resiliency. I will continue to work with my amazing foster care team to recruit, license, and support families who feel called to care for God’s children. This is a ministry, and we are here to ensure that everyone, (the children and foster families), knows that “They Matter”, to God, and to us, here at Miracle Hill Ministries”, Parks stated.
