Travelers Rest, South Carolina (November 28, 2018)-- Migis Hotel Group is pleased to announce that Eric Poovey has been promoted to General Manager of Hotel Domestique in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. Poovey will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel and Restaurant 17 adhering to the standards of service inherent in the Migis brand.
A native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Poovey has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 15 years. He came to Greenville, North Carolina to attend Furman University and fell in love with the rich culture and history of the area. After graduation, Poovey owned and operated two businesses in the area and has extensive experience in the restaurant industry in downtown Greenville. In March 2017, Poovey joined the team at Hotel Domestique and Restaurant 17 as Guest Services Manager.
