Meals on Wheels of Greenville volunteers receive awards from the South Carolina Association for Volunteer Administration

Greenville, South Carolina (October 1, 2020) – Meals on Wheels of Greenville proudly announces winning volunteer group awards for dedication to supporting the mission of Meals on Wheels and the desire to volunteer in the community. The Foody Family, led by Mrs. Suzanne Foody, won the award for Volunteer Family, showcasing a family who has provided broad and exceptional leadership to causes, programs and / or projects that address human needs. ABB won the award for the Workplace/Association category for a corporation, business or trade association that has demonstrated commitment to the community by supporting volunteer activities.

Volunteers are critical to organizations across the country and it is vitally important to recognize those that go above and beyond the call of duty to support the community in which they live. This is the second time that a Meals on Wheels of Greenville nomination has received an award and we are confident that this will be an ongoing tradition for our organization and volunteers.
