Greenville, South Carolina (November 14, 2018) – On Wednesday, November 7, The Greenville Track Club presented Meals on Wheels of Greenville with proceeds from the 2018 Spinx Run Fest. The funds will provide 2,000 meals for the homebound clients of Meals on Wheels.
Since 2008, Meals on Wheels has been a beneficiary of the Spinx Run Fest. In that time, the event has provided 25,500 meals to homebound individuals throughout Greenville County.
“Meals on Wheels of Greenville is truly grateful to benefit from the 2018 Spinx Run Fest,” said Amanda Osborne, Director of Development at Meals on Wheels of Greenville. “The Greenville Track Club has made a tremendous impact in the lives of the homebound over the last decade and our community is a better place because of their generosity.”
