McMillan Pazdan Smith’s Silvia Chan Accepted into Leadership Greenville 49th Class

Silvia Chan, Associate, McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture

McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture is pleased to announce that Associate Silvia Chan was accepted into the 49th class of the Greenville Chamber’s Leadership Greenville. The 10-month program selects its class members based on the strength of their professional resumes, essays, and community involvement. The Chamber's flagship leadership program is an intensive experience where participants work in teams on a volunteer project designed to make them more informed, committed and equipped to be a leader for Greenville County.

As knowledge systems and internal communications leader for McMillan Pazdan Smith, Chan focuses on firmwide initiatives, assembling diverse teams to provide expertise or new perspectives that align with the firm’s guiding principles. She is also the champion of the firm’s intranet where team members share their experiences and get inspired, ask questions and get connected to a knowledge base, and celebrate each other’s latest professional achievements.

Chan is looking forward to working with Leadership Greenville’s diverse network to directly help the city navigate its growth and the challenges that come with that growth. She is a seasoned community leader who serves on the board of Greenville’s ReCraft Creative Reuse Center and has been McMillan Pazdan Smith’s Campaign Coordinator for the United Way of Greenville County since 2017. She also remains regularly involved in many other local sustainability projects, donation efforts, and volunteer opportunities. She has a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University. Chan lives in Greenville with her husband John and daughter Lambrini.
