Mauldin Businesses Continue Supporting Community

MAULDIN, SC – The City of Mauldin continues to believe our local business partners are important to the life and health of our community. With that in mind, the City has set up a “Support Your Local Business” page that can be found online at

Scrolling down the homepage, customers can find a link to the “Support Your Local Business” page where local restaurant partners are sharing information about their services during the COVID-19 challenges. As businesses find creative ways to offer services to and engage with the community, the City of Mauldin encourages the Upstate community to continue supporting our local partners.

An example of serving our local community can be found at Kellett’s Korner. Kellett’s will be offering a promotional deal each Thursday for customers having problems finding toilet paper. Kellett’s will give one roll away per customer each Thursday, while supplies last, with an eight gallon purchase of fuel. Robby Kellett, one of the managing partners, said, “We wanted to find a way to help our community and at the same time remind folks that we’re still in business.”

The promotional deal will begin Thursday, April 2nd, 2020 and will continue each Thursday while they can get supplies. They are also offering one roll of paper with every oil change. “After seeing people lined up to buy goods and not being able to find toilet paper, we worked with one of our suppliers to be able to offer this opportunity,” said Kellett.

Kellett’s Korner is located at 602 North Main Street Mauldin, SC 29662; they can be contacted by phone at 864-288-9750. Americans have always found creative ways to serve each other in challenging times and Kellett’s Korner is working to serve its community.
