March of Dimes to honor Dr. Robert Benedict with 2018 Real Estate and
Economic Development Award

Greenville, SC, (5/1/18) – The March of Dimes is very pleased to announce that
Dr. Robert Benedict will be honored at the 2018 Real Estate and Economic Development Award Luncheon. The event was established in 1998 by the March of Dimes in South Carolina to honor a member of the real estate community who has demonstrated a long history of service; recipients are chosen for their outstanding leadership and vision in the community. Recent past recipients include: Bryson Thomason of Professional Mortgage Company, Tom Croft of The Croft Company, and DJ Rama of Auro Hotels.
This year’s event will be held on November 13 at 11:30 a.m. at Poinsett Club.
Dr. Robert Benedict is the Director of the Master of Real Estate Development program for Clemson University. He is also involved with architectural preservation and has spent years serving on design review boards across the state. He is honored to be recognized as the 2018 March of Dimes Award honoree and serving in this role.
“We are proud to recognize Robert Benedict with this award, and to host this event which will help all moms and babies in the Upstate,” said Laura Goodwin, Executive Director of March of Dimes for the Western Carolinas. “Funds raised at this luncheon will help support vital research and community programs for healthy moms and strong babies.”
