GREENVILLE, S.C. — Lima One Capital has hired a new Senior Director of Sales and Marketing and made two promotions to its growing staff.
Nate Trunfio has been hired by Lima One Capital as its new Senior Director of Sales and Marketing. The company also promoted Cortney Newmans to Head of National Accounts and Commercial Lending, and Dalton Elliott to Director of Sales and Customer Experience.
Trunfio was most recently President of DLP Lending, a company that funds bridge loans for single family and multifamily real estate investors. He was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company, leading both sales and operations, and was instrumental in the company’s significant growth.
Trunfio also served as Director of Operations for two different business-to-business alternative lenders, where he was responsible for the operations and sales team and improving efficiency and scaling the departments. He began his career by spending five years at New Penn Financial, where within two years, he became the top producing sales representative among a team of more than fifty. Trunfio earned a dual bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Marketing from Eastern University.
Trunfio will be based in Philadelphia and will lead Lima One’s Business Development team, while also being heavily involved in all sales capacities and marketing initiatives.
Lima One Capital also promoted Cortney Newmans to Head of National Accounts and Commercial Lending. In this role, he is charged with managing large, institutional-scale accounts for the company and also for leading a team of senior originators. Newmans joined Lima One in 2013 and has consistently been the company’s top originator.
Also promoted is Dalton Elliott, who now serves as Director of Sales and Customer Experience. Elliott joined Lima One in 2015 and has served as Head of Strategic Partnerships since the inception of Lima One’s mortgage broker and lender finance channels in 2017. In his new role, Elliott will continue to lead the Broker channel, while also dedicating significant effort to ensuring Lima One delivers a customer experience that is second to none. Lima One has always been known for proving great service and this new role for Elliott provides further evidence of how strongly the company values its customers by ensuring dedicated focus in providing an exceptional customer experience across all departments.
“We are thrilled to have Nate Trunfio join our team. His extensive leadership experience in sales and executive roles will add to Lima One’s ability to provide industry-leading financing to our customers,” said Josh Craig, Lima One’s Chief Revenue Officer. “Nate’s experience and perspective will continue to accelerate our growth and ensure we deliver on our mission of being the premier lender for real estate investors in the country. The promotions of Cortney Newmans and Dalton Elliott further cement our dedication to our employees and providing opportunities to grow within our organization. Both Dalton and Cortney have been instrumental in our success thus far and they are critically important to continue helping us grow and deliver the exceptional customer experience we’re known for.”
