GREENVILLE, S.C. – Ashley Brown has joined Greenville’s leading software development company, Kopis, to serve in a newly developed marketing specialist role.
Brown, a graduate of University of South Carolina, brings to Kopis more than 10 years marketing experience, with her most recent role as the owner of a boutique marketing firm, Ashley Brown Strategy. She also served as Founder of Femmeportant, an Upstate women’s organization with more than 1,700 members focused on bringing economic opportunities to women in the Upstate region.
“Kopis is involved in so many areas of our city and has a true desire to give back to clients and those working in the tech-space. I am proud to be part of a company like Kopis and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such smart and humble people,” Brown said.
In addition to Brown’s marketing experience on the East Coast, she also traveled throughout the United States writing stories on food, wine and travel as a Huffington Post contributor. She chose to work with Kopis due the well-established reputation of Kopis in the Southeast and the positive impact the company has on the technology community.
“We were all very impressed with Ashley’s background from owning her own marketing firm to creating a new organization,” said Andrew Kurtz, president and CEO of Kopis. “She has a lot of experience with marketing strategies and is very involved within the Greenville community. We are excited to see the new ideas she brings to the table.”
