In addition, he won the Most Improved Award in 2020 for highest increase in sales percentage. “Matt is quick to offer creative solutions; is a fierce advocate for his clients; and given his selfless nature, it is easy to see why he is revered by his community,” Furman said. “Matt embodies the mantra ‘always do the right thing even when no one is looking,’ and it became a natural progression to formalize our partnership with him joining The Furman Group.”

This is a significant step for The Furman Group, said Joan Herlong, CEO and owner Joan Herlong & Associates Sotheby’s International Realty. The Furman Group focuses on new development and helped the second phase of Augusta Row Townhomes sell out in weeks. The Furman Group will be offering the third phase this fall, as well is in early discussions on other new development projects.

“For well over a year, Matt Nocks has been working side by side with Patrick Furman on new developments, including Augusta Row Townhomes,” Herlong said. “They share a tireless work ethic, a commitment to client service, and to creative marketing, which laid an inevitable fast track to expanding the Furman Group. Patrick Furman, Samantha Snyder, and Matt Nocks are top-notch individual associates, which renders their teamwork as a group even stronger.”
