GREENVILLE, S.C. — Jeff Dezen Public Relations (JDPR) has announced that publishing and golf industry vet Mike Chwasky has joined the company and will helm the Golf/Lifestyle Group consisting of major clients Bridgestone Golf, Cobra Puma Golf, and Golf Pride. As group manager he will supervise strategic planning and client services duties to ensure that national campaigns exceed client expectations.
Prior to joining JDPR Chwasky spent over 20 years in various capacities at Werner Publishing (GOLF Tips Magazine) and Time Inc. (Golf Magazine/golf.com), producing in-depth equipment coverage including ClubTest, instruction with GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 Teachers and PGA TOUR professionals, and travel stories from locations in Scotland, Ireland, Wales, and numerous North American destinations.

Chwasky has spent much of his 20-plus year career communicating with golf equipment designers and manufacturers and possesses an excellent understanding of not only the importance of technological innovation and performance but also branding and consumer messaging.
