Industrial Project Innovation Jumps to No. 106 on Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies List

Industrial Project Innovation (IPI) rose to No. 106 in its second year on the annual Inc. 5000 fastest growing companies list. The ranking is an increase of 831 spots from No. 940 last year.

IPI’s Owner and President Kevin Ball said, “IPI is very happy to be named in the Inc. 5000 list for the second year in a row. We have continued to experience excellent growth even in the uncertainty that 2020 brought. We feel very fortunate and thankful for this. We appreciate the trust our clients have placed in us, the vendors that have supported us and most of all for our teammates who have made this possible.”

IPI was ranked the third fastest-growing company in the construction industry nationwide. For the second year running, the company was ranked the fastest-growing company in the construction industry in South Carolina. IPI's three-year growth rate is 3,825%.

The Inc. 5000 list is the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

“The 2021 Inc. 5000 list feels like one of the most important rosters of companies ever compiled,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Building one of the fastest-growing companies in America in any year is a remarkable achievement. Building one in the crisis we’ve lived through is just plain amazing. This kind of accomplishment comes with hard work, smart pivots, great leadership, and the help of a whole lot of people.”
