ANDERSON, S.C. – Hill Electric, a leading electrical contractor for Upstate manufacturers, has announced the promotion of Trey Thomas as the company’s new President and Chief Operating Officer. Mike Davis, who recently made the announcement to employees, customers, and vendors, will remain with the organization as its Chief Executive Officer.
Thomas joined Hill Electric in 2010 as an estimator and project manager. In 2014, he was promoted to Vice President, and has since served in that position. Thomas graduated from Clemson University, with a Bachelors of Science degree in electrical engineering.
“This decision arose from our collective and ongoing promise of providing both exceptional service to Hill Electric’s customers and opportunities of career growth to our employees,” said Davis. “We know that creating a solid transition plan is in everyone’s best interest, and I am looking forward to continuing to grow the company under Trey’s leadership.”
Also announced as part of this leadership transition was the appointment of two Hill Electric employees as Operational Vice Presidents: David Wolke was named Vice President of Labor and Safety, and Casey Johnson has been appointed Vice President of Estimating and Internal Operations.
