Better Business Bureau (BBB®) serving Upstate South Carolina is pleased to announce the addition of Savanna James, director of marketing for Guy Roofing, to its Board of Directors.
“It is truly an honor and a privilege to be a part of such a distinguished group of impactful leaders who care about their community and the businesses that have been established there,” James said. “I look forward to bringing the integrity and perseverance I witness every day at Guy Roofing to the BBB of Upstate South Carolina.”
James has extensive experience in the public relations, marketing, and community relations fields with previous roles at Fox Sports, CBS Sports, The Johnson Group, US Eye, and The Miss America Organization. She has a Master’s in Mass Communication from the University of South Carolina and serves as an ambassador for several local and national organizations, including Auction for a Kaws, The Boon Project, and The Susan G. Komen Foundation.
“We are excited to welcome Savanna to the BBB Board of Directors,” BBB President and CEO Vee Daniel said. “She brings an array of experience and skills to the board which will greatly benefit the local businesses and consumers we serve.”
In her free time, James enjoys working with rescue animals, with four rescue dogs of her own. She also advocates for breast cancer awareness and teaches public speaking at various colleges across South Carolina.
