Greenville, S.C. – Gregory Pest Solutions, a leader in integrated pest management, is celebrating its 50th anniversary throughout the month of June. In celebration of its achievements, Gregory will reflect on 50 years of milestones, offer customer discounts, and host employee celebrations.
Founded in 1972 by a young couple in their twenties, Gregory Pest Solutions grew out of a dream Phil and Sara Gregory had when they decided to start their own pest control company in Upstate South Carolina. Working tirelessly to get the company up and running, Phil and Sara pushed themselves hard to get enough customers in the door to meet the demands of their new dream. Through their hard work and dedication, Gregory Pest Solutions grew to be one of the largest pest control companies in the U.S.
As Gregory kicks off its 50th year, the company reflects on some of their milestones:
• 1972: Phil and Sara Gregory started Gregory Pest Solutions
• 1977: Gregory moved to a one-room office in Greenville, S.C.
• 1990: Phil Gregory served as NPMA President until 1991
• 1994: Phil Gregory won the PCT Crown Award
• 2006: Ben Walker became Gregory Pest Solutions President
• 2014: Gregory introduced their new logo that is being used today
• 2016: Gregory opened a new headquarters in Greenville, S.C.
• Today: Over 260 employees serve a 12-state region in the southeast
“We are incredibly proud of where we are today, and we couldn’t have gotten here without our employees fulfilling the mission that Phil and Sara set forth 50 years ago. For five decades, the Gregory Pet Solutions team has provided pest solutions in a professional, ethical, and caring manner that earns their customer’s trust and satisfaction. Individual celebrations will also take place across locations throughout the region. When asked a favorite memory during their times at Gregory, employees responded with a unanimous answer – the family atmosphere. Gus Walker, a technician since 1988, has enjoyed all the company events with teammates and the hard work out on jobs. “All of these times are a big happy memory and I’m lucky I have the privilege to work at such a job that fits me so well and all the great people I have known here,” said Walker.
