Greenwood, SC – The Greenwood Genetic Center (GGC) welcomes two new board members to its leadership team. Holisa Wharton, PhD of Lander University has been named to the Center’s Board of Directors, and Lonza’s Christen Davis joins the GGC Foundation Board of Trustees.
Dr. Wharton currently serves as Dean of the William Preston Turner School of Nursing at Lander University. She is a registered nurse with a MS in Nursing Education and a PhD in Healthcare Genetics from Clemson University. Dr. Wharton has a longstanding research interest in the genetics of prostate cancer.
Davis is the Director of Quality for Lonza in Greenwood. She studied Business Administration and Management at Erskine College. She has previously served as Chair of Keep Greenwood County Beautiful.
