Greenville Triumph + PNC Bank Announce Multifaceted Partnership

Relationship to Debut “Great Night” Match, Early Ed Funding, PNC Field Club

Greenville, SC (March 5th, 2020) – Greenville Triumph Soccer Club announced a partnership with PNC Bank for the 2020 Season that will feature a premium match day fan experience as well as a new community program benefiting the Overbrook Child Development Center.

Through this relationship, PNC, as part of its Grow Up Great® early education initiative, will make a donation to Overbrook Child Development Center for every Triumph corner kick taken at Legacy Early College, the Triumph’s home field. The Triumph also will host PNC's “Great Night Match” at the April 26, home match vs. North Texas.

“PNC and the Greenville Triumph share a commitment to supporting our communities,” said Weston Andress, PNC regional president for Western Carolinas. “Through the ‘Great Night’ match, we have a terrific opportunity to highlight the importance of early education. We look forward to celebrating the critical role teachers play in preparing pre-K students to learn, grow and succeed in and out of the classroom.”

PNC Grow Up Great is a bilingual $500 million, multi-year initiative of the PNC Foundation to help prepare children from birth to age 5 for success in school and life. Since 2004, PNC Grow Up Great has focused on helping children, especially underserved children, beyond the classroom by supporting learning and social-emotional development at home and across communities through free resources and tools provided to parents, guardians, caregivers and neighborhood organizations.

The Triumph’s partnership with PNC Bank will also feature the naming rights sponsorship for the new premium Field Level Experience for the 2020 season. The newly-named PNC Field Club features pitch-side seating, included food and beverage, parking and other amenities for ticket holders.

“We welcome PNC Bank to the Greenville Triumph family and are excited about partnering with them in the community and to deliver a great new experience for our fans,” said Greenville Triumph president Chris Lewis. “This partnership is aligned with our mission to bring joy and positive impact to our Upstate community. In addition, it provides a tremendous new platform for our fans bringing them closer to the action on the pitch while also providing a fantastic entertainment and social experience.”

The new PNC Field Club is a tiered all-inclusive offering for the club's field-level seats, directly opposite the team benches. All Field Club memberships will include parking, catered food, private restrooms, beer/wine, soft drinks and water, and luxury seating only a few feet from the field of play. Field Club Premier seats will also include special on-field pregame access as the teams warm up.
