Greenville, South Carolina — Grayson Burgess, SIOR, CCIM of The Burgess Company, has achieved the SIOR office designation awarded by the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS.
To achieve the SIOR designation, Grayson, completed at least five years of creditable experience in the highly specialized field of office real estate; met stringent education requirements; and demonstrated professional ability, competency, ethical conduct, and personal integrity.
Individuals who hold the SIOR designation are top producers in the commercial real estate field. SIOR enforces a strict code of ethics and required designees to complete its ethics course within their first three years of membership. SIOR is an international professional organization of more than 3,600 commercial real estate professionals in more than 722 cities in 45 countries around the world.

Grayson started working in commercial brokerage in 2016 alongside his father, Bill Burgess, SIOR, CCIM. Prior to The Burgess Company, Grayson was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps. During his service, Grayson served on three overseas deployments to Afghanistan and other theater of operations. Upon his return to his hometown of Greenville, Grayson attended and graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Business. Grayson currently serves on the McAlister Square Redevelopment Committee in addition to being active member of Downtown Presbyterian Church.
