GREENVILLE, S.C. – Greenville Area Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has added Earl Gregorich to be the area manager.
Having a background in entrepreneurship since 2001, Gregorich has always had a passion for helping small businesses. Along with being the director at Wright State University in Ohio for the SBDC as well as the senior business consultant for the SBDC in Columbia, Gregorich’s past experience also includes owning three small businesses in web services.
“There is a lot of excitement with coming to the Greenville area to help small businesses thrive,” said Gregorich. “I’m excited to take my past experiences with small business and help grow the Greenville community.”
Gregorich received a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Wright State University and has been endorsed to be a certified business advisor from the University of Toledo. Gregorich also has certifications in Quickbooks, Growth Wheel and is VA certified with Vets First consultants. He also was the coordinator of the Wright Venture entrepreneurial pitch program and the co-coordinator of the Professional Business Institute for local high school’s entrepreneurship camp in Ohio.
Throughout his years helping small businesses, Gregorich has received multiple recognitions for his accomplishments. A few of the awards he has recently gained include 2015 SBA Small Business Development Center’s Excellence and Innovation Award, 2015 WSU Workplace and Community Excellence award and the 2017 South Carolina Small Business Development Center Statewide Leadership Award, peer selected.
“Creative training and consulting sessions have always been the primary selling point of all my business endeavors,” said Gregorich. “Being in front of the class and getting people to that aha moment is what has driven my passion as an entrepreneur.”
